The C. Barton McCann School of Art Recipient of Art, located in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, was recently awarded a $2500.00 grant by M&T Bank of State College, Pennsylvania.
The grant will fund scholarships and art materials purchases for invited students attending the summer arts program at The C. Barton McCann School of Art. The summer arts program is open to all high school students residing in Central Pennsylvania who demonstrate artistic talent in the field of visual arts.
This summer marks the inaugural year in which students from Centre, Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin Counties will attend a comprehensive two-week program exploring and developing their skills in drawing, painting and sculpture. All sessions will be taught by professional artists and educators.
