· Promote interest in and appreciation
of the Visual Arts through curricular offerings at the C. Barton McCann
School of Art.
· Create a progressive environment of instruction, guidance, and expression
for all young adults who have an interest in the Visual Arts.
· Offer instruction that provides focused opportunities and placement
to students who wish to pursue a Fine Arts degree.
· Invite regional, national, and international artists to interact with
our
students.
· Promote and expand the Arts Library for the educational benefit of
our students.
· Cultivate diversity among all segments of the school including, but
not limited to gender, race, sexual orientation, creed, national origin and
socio-economic status.
· Engage in constant collaborative activities with educational, industrial,
and cooperative foundations and fellows, both here and abroad, to disseminate
multicultural resources among our students.
